Evie was an amazing person, she helped me through a lot of hard times, she stood up for me on the basketball team when everyone acted like they didn't even want me there and when people in school and online bullied me. She was supportive of everything I did, she accepted me for who I was unlike many people. It will be so strange to go to my advanced classes and not have her sit by me and us work together. She has earned me friends and some people I consider my family. I Have so many words that I can't type through the tears. I'm sorry for your loss, and I hope Evie rests in peace..

I am SO sorry! Evie was one of those children that stood out. I still remember where she sat for most of that school year. She always had a smile & she always wanted to be helpful. She had a nice little personality.

I lost my husband on Valentine's Day. I've learned grieving doesn't just last a few days. I don't think you ever get over it but I've been told it does get better.

I am so sorry for your loss, Evie was such a sweet girl, our cousin Hailie Chambers always talked about her via FB. We lost a baby 9 days old, but I can't begin to imagine losing a child you've watched grow before your eyes. You both did a wonderful job raising her, we remember her when she was 8 and playing fast pitch with the Lunachicks. I've been around Evie a few times when she was with my niece, Laila. She was always a joy to be around. We were swimming with her at my aunt's in Livermore a couple of weeks ago. My 3 year old wanted to go down the slide at the pool, but was too nervous to go by herself. Evie let my daughter ride down the slide in her lap several times. She also helped my young daughters when they would jump off the diving board. She was such a sweet girl, and we are so very sorry for your loss.
