Eddie Galloway

Eddie Galloway, of Owensboro, Kentucky went to be with his Lord on Monday, October 17, 2016 at his home.  Eddie Ray Galloway was born October 10, 1936 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Coy Ray and Ola Vance England Galloway and was married to the former Betty Joyce Craig on November 20, 1998.  Eddie retired from Commonwealth Aluminum in Hawesville and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Owensboro.  He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, lived a happy life, and was an avid bowler.  In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by two sisters, Sally Dame and Jacky Cach.

          Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Betty Galloway; a son and his wife, Edd and Catherine Galloway of California; a daughter and her husband, Roxanne and Edwin Silvera of California; a step son, Frank Shrader of Philpot; a step daughter and her husband, Sara and Bruce Schroader of Owensboro; 2 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; and two step brothers, Guy Carol Troutman and wife, Ruth of Calhoun and Bobby Troutman of Buck Creek.

          Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Tim Campbell officiating.  Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #5415.  Friends may visit with Eddie’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Friday at Musters in Calhoun.

          The Eddie Galloway family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Cornerstone Baptist Church, Building Fund; 331 Legion Blvd West; Owensboro, Kentucky  42303.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
