David A. Morris 71, of Valley Center, California formerly of Calhoun, KY died May 14, 2017. David Allen Morris was born July 12, 1945 in Calhoun, Kentucky to the late Cecil E. Morris and Madeline Lamn and was married to Leslie Simpson. He worked as a farrier and cattle rancher. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Wayne Morris.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Leslie Morris; four sons, Jeff Morris, Garrett (JoLene) Morris, Grant Morris, and Travis Morris all of Valley Center; four daughters; Shannon Morris, Julianna (Ed) Cartwright, Alissa (Jeff) Hubbard, Kaylen (Drew) Jeansonne; 6 grandchildren; a sister Betty Ray (Frankie) Cox of Calhoun; and brother Billy (Linda) Morris of Calhoun; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in Gunlock, Utah.
