Danny R. Trunnell

Danny R. Trunnell  66, of Livermore, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in Island.  Danny Ray Trunnell was born June 6, 1951 in Greenville, Kentucky to the late Dowell Houston and Vivian Dean Bowman Trunnell and was married to the former Debby Ann Kassinger June 5, 1970.  Danny retired as a senior gas controller from Texas Gas in Owensboro after 43 years of service.  He enjoyed fishing, riding bicycles and spending time with both his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Faith Anne Sandefur.

          Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Debby Trunnell; two daughters and their husbands, Liberty and Mark Watson of Philpot and Jessica and John David Sandefur of Owensboro; eight grandchildren, Sara Beals and husband, Jacob, Houston Watson, Benny Watson, Graham Sandefur, Summer Watson, Nevaeh Watson, Hailey Sandefur, and Molly Sandefur; and four sisters, Kay Daugherty of Livermore, Genia Boyken of Island, Jennifer Bullock of Moorman, and Tresia Withers of Island.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Mark Watson officiating.  Friends may visit with Danny’s family from 12:00 P.M. (noon) until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Livermore.

          The Danny R. Trunnell family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Friends of McLean County Library; P.O. Box 188; Livermore, Kentucky  42352.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Livermore.
