Curtis E. Morris 78, of Livermore, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his home in Livermore. Curtis Eugene Morris was born December 17, 1939 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late James Thomas and Mary Magdalene Easton Morris and was married to the former Georgeann Marshall December 17, 1960. Curtis was a retired master carpenter and a member of the Baptist Faith. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran and member of McLean County V.F.W. Memorial Post #5415. He loved his dogs, Nikki, Diamond and Cody, watching FOX News and his butterscotch candy.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ann Morris; three sons, Michael Curtis Morris and wife, Sarah of Powderly, Robby Dale Morris and wife, Tabby of Calhoun and James Tracy Morris and wife, Joan of Sorgho; a daughter, Lesa Marion Weikel and husband, Gene of Clarkson; six grandchildren, D.W. Smith, Brittney Smith, Casey Cummings, Jason Morris, Robbi Morris, and Angel Phillabaum; and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Revs. Al Johnson and David Hawley officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #5415. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery in Muhlenberg County. Friends may visit with Curtis’ family from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday and from 11:30 A.M. until 2:30 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Livermore.
