Charles K. Newcom

Charles K. Newcom  80, of Livermore, Kentucky died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in Livermore.  Charles Keith Newcom was born March 5, 1936 in Hartford, Kentucky to the late Randall Ford and Thelma Mae Wallace Newcom and was married to the former Anna Jean Williams in August of 1957.  Charles retired from the Hon Corporation of Owensboro and was a member of Livermore United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed spending time with both his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Anna Jean Newcom, who died November 4, 2005.

          Survivors include two sons and their wives, Keith and Marie Newcom and Darren and Carrie Newcom both of Louisville; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a brother, Perry Newcom of Philpot; his special friend, Irene Wigginton of Livermore; several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Jim White officiating.  Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore.  Friends may visit with Charles’ family from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Musters in Livermore.

          The Charles K. Newcom family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Livermore United Methodist Church, Building Fund; P.O. Box 67; Livermore, Kentucky  42352.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Livermore.
