Ann "Rooney" Howell (Patrick) Wood

Ann “Rooney” Howell Wood, 77, of Owensboro, Kentucky died Sunday, January 17 at her home.  Ann Patrick was born October 22, 1938 in Livermore to the late Hobart Leslie and Bertha Myra Patrick.  She was a member of Brushy Fork Baptist Church and a devoted housewife and mother.  Ann was preceded in death by her first husband Ed Dow Howell on February 27, 1988; sisters: Mae Wainscott, Dorothy Spencer, Doris Woosley; brother, John Patrick; and step granddaughter Alysa D. Yewell.

          Survivors include her loving husband Tony Wood; son, Eddie and his wife Renee Howell, daughters, Janet and her husband Tommy Calvert, and Patti and her husband Doug Edmonds all of Island; four step daughters: Candy & Mike Jordan, Misty and Joey Isbill, Toni Morrison, Sandy Smith; grandsons: Matt & Jen Calvert, William and Jessica Miller, Thomas and Rachel Miller, Edward and Courtney Howell, Stephen and Chelsea Edmonds; 8 great grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren; sister, Frankie Young; and several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Jason Mayfield officiating.  Burial will be in the Island Baptist Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Ann’s family from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Musters in Livermore.
