James “Jimbo” Morris 63, of Livermore, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. James Franklin Morris was born February 19, 1955 in Peoria, Illinois to James Lurton and Shirley Ray Miles Morris and was better known as “Jimbo” to both his family and friends. Jimbo earlier worked on the rail roads, was a member of the Baptist Faith, had many friends, and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Morris.
Survivors include two sons, James Morris and Jacob Morris both of Livermore; two daughters, Andrea Morris and Sarah Morris both of Livermore; 8 grandchildren; his mother, Shirley Morris of Livermore; and two sisters, Lisa Staves (Steve) and Renita Casey both of Livermore.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Livermore City Building; 105 West 3rd Street; Livermore. Muster Funeral Homes is handling the arrangements for Jimbo’s family. Friends may visit with Jimbo’s family from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Livermore City Building.
