Herman Ray Day 87, of Livermore, Kentucky, formerly of Henderson went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 2, 2018 at his home in Livermore. Herman Ray Day was born March 27, 1930 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to the late Jim and Naomi Hill Day and was married to the former Florene Adler March 15, 1952. Herman retired from the Courier-Press Newspaper in Evansville, was a member of the Livermore General Baptist Church, and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was an avid boater and enjoyed both water skiing and teaching people to ski.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Florene Day; and his adopted daughter, Barbara Caudle of Livermore.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Revs. Roy Day and Richard Day officiating. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Muhlenberg County. Friends may visit with Herman’s family from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday and from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Monday at Musters in Livermore.
