Musters, A Part of Your Community Since 1855
The Muster Family is proud to have served as funeral directors for our community for six generations. We are also honored to support and be a part of several community activities. We hope these functions will help to maintain the community that so many are glad to call home.
Muster Funeral Homes supports and sponsors several community events each year. Some of these events include:
Muster Funeral Homes horse drawn hearse in the Battle of Sacramento Parade. Jessie Abney of Calhoun is the driver.
Battle of Sacramento
McLean County and the City of Sacramento host the annual Battle of Sacramento on the actual grounds that the
Civil War Battle was held almost 150 years ago. We are proud to be a part of the re-enactment through the use
of our funeral tents, our horse-drawn hearse, the use of our formal limousines for re-enactors, and financial
contributions.

McLean County's American Cancer Society - Relay for Life
For a relatively small county, McLean County has turned the eyes towards our area with its performance
in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. In the second year, McLean County raised more than $74,000.00
to help find a cure for cancer. Muster Funeral Homes participates through corporate sponsorship, staff assistance,
and the use of our funeral tents.
If you would be interested in making a contribution or helping with the Relay for Life please feel free to contact Muster Funeral Homes at (270) 273-3124.
